Start with what is changing
Bring your Annual Notice of Change or other plan notice. We will check changes to your premium, doctors, hospitals, prescription coverage and costs, then compare appropriate options available in your county. Changes made during Annual Enrollment generally take effect January 1, 2027.
Why review every year
Medicare plans may change premiums, provider networks, prescription formularies, pharmacies, cost sharing, and extra benefits. Your health, medications, doctors, finances, and priorities may also change.
Bring the right information
Prepare your Medicare card, current plan information, a complete prescription list with dosages, preferred pharmacies, doctors and facilities, expected procedures, and questions about benefits you actually use.
Compare total value
A useful review considers estimated annual medical and prescription costs, provider access, maximum out-of-pocket exposure, travel needs, referrals, prior authorization, dental details, transportation, and practical benefits—not simply the premium or largest advertised allowance.
No change may be the right answer
An annual review does not mean you should switch. If current coverage still fits your providers, prescriptions, costs, and priorities, remaining enrolled may be the best decision.
Help continues beyond Annual Enrollment
People who are new to Medicare or experience certain eligibility or life changes may have other enrollment opportunities. We review chronic-condition eligibility, Medicaid changes, moving and loss of coverage individually. Contact Mark when a question arises, including after enrollment.
Special Needs Plans may be overlooked
A chronic-condition diagnosis, a change in Medicaid status, or evolving support needs may make a C-SNP, D-SNP, or integrated MyCare Ohio plan worth reviewing. Eligibility, county availability, providers, prescriptions, and effective dates must be verified.
Support is available
Senior Benefits Resource provides no-cost plan review, eligibility and network verification, enrollment assistance when appropriate, and continued help after enrollment.
